How many books can I borrow from the library?

You can borrow up to 24 books at a time. 

How long can I keep my books for?

A book loan is for 3 weeks, you may also renew your loan 3 times.

Can I return my book to another library?

Yes, you can return any book from us to any other library in Leicestershire and Rutland.

How can I renew my books online?

Log in to the Leicestershire libraries website here, using your library card number and PIN to renew your books. You can also renew books by phone, call us on 0116 305 3706.

Can I order a book from another library?

You can order books from other libraries via the Leicestershire libraries website, you will get an email when the book has arrived for collection. There is a charge of £1 for adult books, 20p for children books.

I’ve lost my card.

We can replace lost library cards however there may be a charge.

Can I join a group?

You can just turn up to the library at the times of the groups for Wriggly Readers, Digital Drop In, the Board Games group and Busy Hands and Minds. For the book club there is limited space and is currently filled, so email us or ask a librarian to be added to the waitlist. For more information on our groups see the groups page or ask a librarian, for groups dates check the calendar page.

Can I use the computers at the library?

Yes, library members can use the computers for free for 7 hours a week, for a maximum of 3 hours a day.

Can I print/use the photocopier, how much does it cost?

Printing/photocopying costs 25p per page for black and white printing, 50p per page for colour printing.

Do you have WIFI?

Yes, our WIFI is free to use on any of your own devices, connect to LCCFreeWifi.
