Proposed Changes To Library Opening Hours

Firstly, thank you to you all for your continuing support and for using our Community Library. Without this support we would not be able to operate.

As winter months are approaching, the nights get darker and people are reluctant to go out. We decided to look at the safety of our volunteers. As part of this process, we have been reviewing our opening hours.

As a community library, we are staffed completely by volunteers.

We are committed to a specific number of hours per week. Currently, we are open on Wednesdays until 7pm, as you may appreciate, this is not a popular shift with our volunteers, especially in the winter, and our footfall after 6pm can be nil.

Therefore, we are proposing to change our current opening hours on Wednesdays to 1pm – 6pm.

As members of the local community we value your thoughts/comments.

There is a sheet in the library for you to voice your opinion on this matter, or you can email us at nandlclibrary@gmail.com

Please leave comments by December, 2nd.

Thank you for your continued support and feedback.

Best wishes,

Volunteers of Narborough and Littlethorpe Community Library
